Walking into the Altuzarra show this past season back in September, felt like a breath of fresh air. Joseph Altuzarra left NYFW for Paris in 2017, and his return to the NYFW schedule was highly anticipated. The show took place in a massive loft in downtown Manhattan, with huge columns, and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the entire city in its last days of summer. But the particular fresh feel of the show may have also been due to the most important detail, which truthfully had nothing to do with the fantastic collection.

As you walked into the show, lining the entranceway, scattered throughout the backstage area, and tucked away in the corners of the room, were a handful of sleek, chic-looking Molekule air purifiers. For his first show back at NYFW in five years, Joseph Altuzarra told us, “Coming back post-quarantine, alongside my long-standing objective of providing an impactful collection and amazing show, I wanted to ensure my guests were as comfortable as possible.”

Molekule felt like a natural partnership, especially considering the designer keeps the purifier in his own home as well. “Though Molekule and Altuzarra are two different entities,” he told us, “When it comes to design and craftsmanship intertwined, we complement each other harmoniously.” Essentially, if an air purifier could walk the runway, it would definitely be this one.

At this rate, I’m seeing at least one Molekule air purifier a week, and have decided it’s finally time to buy my own. Luckily, they’re available to shop on Amazon, and make the perfect holiday gift for 2021.

Aside from its beautiful design, Molekule air purifiers are truly the best of the best at what they do. Unlike other air purifiers on the market, Molekule uses a special technology known as photo electrochemical oxidation (PECO). This means that the purifier is able to break down viruses, bacteria, and allergens on a molecular level by using free radicals. According to the brand, those are the same ones used …….
